AT THE NEGOTIATING TABLE

Understand the person
behind the offer.

In one competitive purchase, Robert recalls that understanding the seller’s priorities helped shape a successful negotiation for his buyers. The lesson is to listen carefully and evaluate the whole proposal; each transaction needs its own approach.

Before we begin.

Can we talk before I start viewing homes?+

Yes. A first conversation can help clarify your priorities, your timing and how you want to approach the search.

Will you also help coordinate my sale?+

We can look at both transactions together and discuss how their timing and practical steps connect.

A SELLER’S STORY

JEFFERSON
RICHMOND HILL
Historical case · Seller representation

A fresh look.
A different response.

A well-kept home had spent more than two months on the market before its previous listing ended. Robert helped the owners rethink the presentation and prepare a new approach to the market.

Before we begin.

What preparation should I budget for?+

We begin with the condition of your home and your available time. Repairs, improvements and staging are normally owner expenses; Robert normally covers professional photography and listing marketing materials. The scope is agreed for your property.

How will we decide on a listing price?+

We review the home, competing listings and relevant market information alongside your timing. There is no single pricing tactic that fits every home or every market.

What if I am not ready to list?+

You don’t need to be ready to list. We can talk through your options and the preparation that would help, then choose a timeline that works for you.
